Discover the beautiful island of Santorini - Beaches, Attractions and More

Santorini is one of the most popular and unique of all the islands of Greece. It's geography and landscapes make it an island unlike any other due to the volcanic eruption that took place here several thousand years ago, and which dramatically changed the appearance of the island.

The island is famous for the whitewashed houses and picturesque yards, beautifully domed churches and the labyrinth of winding paths and narrow passage ways of towns such as Oia and Fira - two of the most visited in all of the island.

Santorini is accessible by air and sea. During the summer months, there are regular flights to the island from many major European cities, as well as charter flights. There are also domestic flights from Santorini to other parts of Greece including the capital city of Athens. There are frequent ferry connections with Athens, as well as other islands in the Cyclades, and also the island of Crete.
